Meet Alice Delemare
As a resident of Stockport who grew up in the area and now lives with my family in the Heatons, I have deep roots in the community. This is my home, and I'm proud to be raising my children here while working to make it an even better place for everyone.
With over 15 years of experience campaigning on social and environmental justice, I am passionate about helping people stand up against broken and unfair systems. I currently work for an organisation driving the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy, tackling one of the most pressing challenges of our time.

Throughout my career, I've never shied away from championing important causes and challenging powerful interests, having led successful campaigns on clean energy, nutritious foods, and plastic pollution. I believe that when ordinary people come together and speak up, we can take on even the biggest obstacles and win real change for our communities.
As a mother of two young children, I understand firsthand many of the challenges facing families today – from the cost of living to accessing quality public services. I volunteer for the Campaign for Family Friendly Trains, where I advocate for dedicated pushchair space and family-friendly improvements to the UK rail network, because I know how important practical changes are to making everyday life easier for families.
