Colourful flowers are now brightening Dundonald Street after residents asked their Lib Dem team to take action on neglected planters.

For months, empty planters sat gathering rubbish and making the street look uncared for. Local residents told Alice Delemare and the Lib Dem team they wanted to see the planters put to proper use with flowers to brighten up the area.

The team pushed the Council until they took action, and the planters are now filled with beautiful blooms, transforming the look of the street. A huge thank you to the dedicated residents who have fed and watered the plants all summer, keeping them looking spectacular and showing real community pride.

Alice said: "It might seem like a small issue, but details like this matter to residents. When you told us you wanted action, we kept pushing until the Council delivered. The fact that residents have then stepped up to care for the plants all summer shows the strength of community spirit on Dundonald Street. That's what local campaigning is all about."

If you've got concerns about your area, get in touch with your Lib Dem team and we'll fight your corner.
