Alice Delemare Launches Survey to Hear from Davenport & Cale Green Residents
Liberal Democrat candidate Alice Delemare is launching a major survey to hear directly from residents across Davenport & Cale Green ward about the issues that matter most to them.
The survey, which is being delivered to households throughout Davenport, Cale Green, Shaw Heath and Adswood, asks residents to share their priorities and concerns ahead of next May's council election.
"I've been really glad to speak to so many residents on doorsteps already," said Alice. "People are rightly proud of our local area, but they also have real concerns about issues affecting their daily lives. This survey is about making sure every resident has the chance to have their say."
Alice, a Stockport resident who grew up locally, is determined to tackle the cost of living crisis, fight for NHS services including Stepping Hill Hospital, and improve access to services for all residents.
"The best ideas come from listening to local people, not imposing solutions from above," Alice explained. "Whether it's concerns about local transport, worries about the state of our roads, or priorities for improving local services – I want to hear from you."
Alice is already campaigning for step-free access to Davenport Station to make local transport accessible for parents with pushchairs, older residents, and people with mobility challenges.
